Third Frontier Commission awards $4.3 million to five NE Ohio tech companies

“The Ohio Third Frontier Commission on Wednesday awarded $4.3 million in grants to five Northeast Ohio technology companies, while also releasing updated statistics on the performance of the Ohio Third Frontier Project. “

“One Northeast Ohio-based sensor project, submitted by Pressco Technology Inc. of Solon, received a Third Frontier award. The company will use the $406,000 grant to further develop a sensor that would be used to inspect plastic bottles and other food packages during the packaging process. The company will partner with Miami University on the project. “
