Summerfest 2006
Each summer, Pressco associates and their families get together for fun,
games, and food. Again this year, we were blessed with excellent weather. |
Our coveted volleyball championship title was re-captured by the Cochran
team this year. Congratulations Tim, Rick, Amanda, Dave, Don, and Konda! |
The picnic is unquestionably a family event. Associates and
their families got to enjoy the pool. |
New for us this year was the cornhole event. This was a big
hit, and will definitely be back next year. |
Meanwhile, some folks tried their luck at miniature golf. |
One of the highlights of this year's picnic included the
International theme - celebrating Pressco Around the World. Just for fun, we
polled our associates for the countries they represent through their
heritage. |
Back by popular demand, Flower Clown provided fun, magic,
teeth, and
the greatest balloon sculptures! |

Innovation Awards 2006
Mike Yoder received the 2006 Innovation Award in Applications Engineering
for developing part programs and illumination techniques to detect very
small defects on EZO ends for a particular customer. He utilized a standard
CP1200E Inspection Module and was able to reject all defective parts while
keeping false rejects to a minimum. |
Dan Hagel received the 2006 Innovation Award in Mechanical
Engineering for developing the "E" series of Inspection Modules. His design
concept utilized a large number of common parts and assemblies for all of
the General Purpose Inspection Modules (CP500E, CP750E, CP1200E, CP1500E),
thus reducing manufacturing costs and increasing flexibility. |
Mike Gessner received the 2006 Outstanding Performance Award
in Project Engineering. The performance of each Project Engineer was
measured using standard criteria. Mike was the overall performance leader
for the second year in a row. |
