Pressco's Extractor product line provides a powerful capability in full high-speed color of Process Monitoring and High Speed Inspection systems for inspecting the quality of printed labels.  These easy-to-use systems auto-learn the subject, then detect and reject labels that do not match the required color and imaging parameters.

Since its introduction in 1997, the Extractor product has been used by manufacturers of 2 piece beer and beverage containers around the world to prevent mixed labels and decorator defects from reaching customers. The Extractor has proven to be very effective at eliminating incorrect labels as well as decorator flaws from the product stream.

Process Monitoring Feature for Extractor II

The Extractor II system offers the ability to automatically download process information at user-specified time intervals. This enables operators to monitor the performance of the decorator by reviewing and saving color "signatures" of multiple cans every hour, every shift, or on demand. The user can also save the specified tolerance limits at the same time – all without interrupting the inspection process.

Included with the Calibration And Diagnostics Interface (CADI) software package, customers can also export signature and envelope data to Microsoft Excelâ for further review and analysis. Any Extractor product can be easily upgraded with the hardware and software to achieve this advanced capability.
