Out-of-tolerance conditions are identified instantly and corrective action can be taken immediately, thus preventing costly spoilage and improving the quality of containers shipped to customers.

Sensing modules can be integrated inside stretch blowmolding systems or on external material handling equipment. When combined with Pressco’s patented correlation feature, Intellimass provides a powerful tool for troubleshooting manufacturing process problems. Defective containers can be easily traced to a particular mold cavity, infeed/outfeed transfer arm, or spindle, thus reducing blowmolder downtime.

INTELLIMASS can also be integrated with INTELLISPEC™ inspection modules to fully inspect the Base, Neck/Sidewall, Seal Surface, and other areas of the container. Intellimass is installed as an option within new Intellispec cabinets, or can be added as an upgrade to most existing INTELLISPECs. It includes customized sensing modules along with related hardware.
