Field Service Representative
Pressco Technology Inc. designs, develops and markets ultra high-speed
sensing and process monitoring products for the global container
manufacturing industry.
We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of Field
Service Representative. This person will provide systems installations,
repair and customer training to our customers worldwide.
Duties/Essential Job Functions:
- Install new systems and upgrades at customer
sites worldwide.
- Perform all mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting and
integration.
- Analyze, evaluate and diagnose complex equipment and application
problems independently.
- Conduct customer-training sessions on utilization and basic
maintenance of system.
- Assist and support customers in professional manner.
- Majority of time (approximately 90%) spent on customer field
assignments.
- Extensive travel, both domestic and international.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful applicants will have a technical AS degree
or equivalent military/trade training, with a minimum of two years
experience, planning and performing preventative maintenance,
troubleshooting and repair of electronic and pneumatic systems.
- A broad based knowledge of electrical, mechanical,
electronic systems, as well as a familiarity with PC’s including operating
systems and Windows NT, 2000 and XP applications, is also essential.
- In addition, you must be self-motivated, possess
exceptional organizational and time management skills and due to the high
level of customer interaction, possess strong interpersonal skills. A
positive and customer focused attitude is also required.
- Multi-lingual skills a plus.
