Senior Project Manager
Pressco Technology Inc. designs, develops and markets ultra high-speed sensing
and process monitoring products for the global container manufacturing industry.
We are currently seeking a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER to provide project
engineering support for Pressco products, development efforts, and functional
area needs.
Duties/Essential Job Functions:
- Work with customers to identify and/or verify system
configurations, installation guidelines, start-up procedures, and
commissioning processes.
- Manage all phases of the order fulfillment process, from
proposal review through successful buy-off by the customer.
Effectively communicate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate Engineering and Production activities to ensure
on-time completion of required documentation during the order
fulfillment process.
- Support sales activities through on-site visits to determine
product configuration feasibility.
- Provide system installation and
technical support, which may include visits to customer sites as
well.
- Review specific inspection system configurations as identified
on the Application Report(s) and coordinate with the appropriate
Engineering and Manufacturing personnel.
- Modify standard products to fit customer needs. Perform design
tasks including layout, design, detailing, and manufacture of
components for non-standard system configurations.
- Develop and maintain support documentation for Project
Engineering including Questionnaires, Installation Documentation
Packages, Planning BOMs, etc.
- Perform various job-related assignments as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ten years experience in manufacturing and/or engineering
disciplines
- Associate Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work
experience
- Skilled in project management techniques
- Detail oriented with good organizational, time management, and
planning skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Ability to perform engineering analysis
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work, lead, and make decisions in a fast paced,
team-oriented environment
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access or similar programs
- Familiar with Made-2-Manage and SalesLogix software (or similar
software packages)
