System Utilization Benefits: Service & Maintenance Contracts

The System Utilization program is a contract program that helps you achieve the highest inspection performance available of your Pressco system. Through this program, we provide Pressco senior service engineers to your plant on a regular basis to maintain your systems, optimize them for maximum inspection performance, and provide other services such as training or recommendations of upgrades.

Pressco understands that you are focused on production at your plants and your maintenance resources are often stretched thin ensuring that production numbers remain robust. We also understand that inspection technology is an integral part of the production process and that it is imperative that these systems are maintained to perform at their optimal level. By implementing a System Utilization Program, you can ensure that your systems are optimized on a regular basis and that your maintenance personnel receive regular refresher training. This program has proven to reduce unexpected down time, reduce false rejects and false accepts and produce consistent inspection results among multiple systems.
 

Reduced System Downtime:

The System Utilization program has been proven to reduce system downtime by identifying and correcting potential problems before they happen. We also audit your available spare parts and recommend the parts needed to help you stay prepared for unexpected component failures.

Reduced False Rejects and False Accepts:

A major portion of the System Utilization Program focuses on optimizing the inspection parameters to detect and reject defective product. We work directly with your Quality group to identify the type and severity of defects to reject and adjust system sensitivity accordingly. Audits of systems performed before and after the System Utilization show a marked reduction in false rejects and false accepts.

With a properly tuned system, the operator can quickly identify problems with the production line and take corrective actions before large numbers of defects are made.

We work closely with your personnel and provide them with refresher system training during the service. Our objective is to provide your operators and technicians with the skills and knowledge needed to perform routine system maintenance and minor program adjustments.

We implement a Standard Part Program on each system that ensures consistent inspection results from system to system and from plant to plant. Implementing the Standard Part Program eliminates the variations often found in the naming, sizing and placement of inspections amongst multiple systems.
